About Us

Change begins here. Our innovative holistic programs are empowering parents, educating caregivers and making it easier to be a kid in San Francisco. Together, we're giving children aged five and under the means to lead our community by leading healthier, happier lives.

We're part of the statewide First 5 California movement to assist public agencies, non-profit organizations and parent groups in nurturing early education, pediatric healthcare, systems change and family support. And our revolutionary Preschool for All program is making preschool free for every four-year-old in our area. We're doing all this under the guidance of the San Francisco Children and Families Commission and an ambitious Strategic Plan.
