As first teachers, parents hold the most power to shape a child. All families can benefit from support and guidance in raising healthy children. That is why we will focus on our neighborhood-based network of family resource centers (FRCs) as central places where parents can seek services and support.
Current Projects
Family Support Initiative
This Initiative gives 13 organizations resources to create family friendly activities to promote the optimal development of the parent-child relationship, child development and school readiness. We are currently at work in the neighborhoods of Chinatown, Mission District, South of Market, Bayview Hunters Point, Visitation Valley, Portola Valley, the Richmond and the Sunset.
