The Bayview YMCA Family Resource Center is a family supportive and responsive empowerment program that serves as a hub for connecting families with a network of local and city-wide resources to strengthen families and prevent risk of abuse and neglect.

Parenting Advice and Skill Building Infants and babies playgroup Infant massage group supports the importance of a secure environment and nurturing touch in the healthy growth, development and maturation of children, and helps parents to understand their baby’s particular nonverbal language and respond with love and respectful listening. Parenting Advice and Skill Building Toddlers/preschoolers playgroup Answers Benefiting Children (ABC Group) is a drop-in group activity that engages parents and their children in healthy ways that promote social development of their children. Drop-in, by registration
Parenting Advice and Skill Building Parent education Triple P: A parenting and family support system designated to prevent as well as treat behavioral and emotional problems in children and teens.

ACT: Parenting our children in safe environments, particularly for children exposed to violence.

Parenting Advice and Skill Building Support groups Anger management: A safe and encouraging supportive group of women working together to enhance their experience toward healthy relationships without anger, without regrets.

Fatherhood: A group dedicated to helping fathers with parenting skills, planning, and advocacy.

DV Support: A group that partners with La Casa to offer services for women with or without children who are in domestic or community violence.

Healing circle: This group focuses on the healing power of sound and vibrations to help relax the mind and inspire the spirit.

Formal Supports Family advocacy/case management Staff helps remove barriers that prevent families from linking to or accessing available services. By appointment
Formal Supports Differential response and/or enhanced visitation Services for families referred by the San Francisco Human Services Agency. By referral
Other Leveraged Services Housing support We may provide housing stabilization services, assistance with move-in costs, and delinquent rents. By appointment
