Drop-In Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 6 pm

Glide Family Resource Center is housed in Glide’s Family Youth and Childcare building in San Francisco’s Tenderloin Neighborhood. We offer a variety of free services and events to support, empower, and honor families. We welcome all children and families, unconditionally.

Community Connections Workshops and classes We offer groups and workshops around topics that parents have identified as useful to them including stress reduction, family nutrition, child development, and more.  By registration
Community Connections Family and community events We offer family and community events year-round. Our most popular events are our Day of the Dead Dinner, Harvest Dinner, Kwanzaa celebration, and more! Drop-in
Community Connections Parent leadership and volunteer opportunities We have a quarterly Parent Advisory Board, and offer the Abriendo Puertas series, a Spanish language parent leadership series.   By registration
Community Connections Information and referrals Families are connected to internal and external resources and services. Drop-in, by appointment
Parenting Advice and Skill Building Infants and babies playgroup Baby & Me parent/child group for babies ages, 0-18 months.  Drop-in
Parenting Advice and Skill Building Toddlers/preschoolers playgroup Mommy & Me parent/child group for ages 18 months to 5 years. Drop-in
Parenting Advice and Skill Building Parent education We offer the evidence-based parenting series, 1-2-3 Magic, in the Fall and Spring.  We offer one series in Spanish and one in English. By registration
Parenting Advice and Skill Building Support groups We offer weekly support groups, such as:

  • Parent support group
  • Creative healing support group
  • Family bonding support group

Parenting Advice and Skill Building Developmental screening Receive consultation from our Child Development Specialist and/or Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant with ASQ (Ages and Stages Questionnaire, ages 1 month- 5.5 yrs. old) to better understand your child’s developmental milestones and ways you can help support your children or address any concerns. By appointment
Formal Supports Family advocacy/case management Families receive focused guidance and coaching to achieve goals related to parenting, family relationships, obtaining benefits/supports, employment, and health. By appointment
Other Leveraged Services K-5 after school program Licensed childcare and preschool is available for all children 0-5.  By registration
Other Leveraged Services Additional resources Free meals, domestic violence services, rental assistance, homeless services, legal guidance, and more. By registration
