The San Francisco Office of Early Care and Education (OECE) is seeking qualified candidates for two new positions, a Senior Contract Analyst and a Senior Financial Analyst, strengthening OECE’s administrative capacity to build a high-quality early childhood system of care for San Francisco. Together OECE and First 5 San Francisco aim to improve education, health, and well-being outcomes for young children and their families by employing a racial equity lens to combat racism and expand opportunity.

As part of our recently adopted racial equity action plan, we seek individuals with expertise and experience in contracts and finance who share these values. We are making a concerted effort to reach out to underrepresented communities – including African American, Latino, Pacific Islander, and indigenous populations – to broaden our pool of candidates for staff positions. We are specifically seeking candidates with diverse perspectives, knowledge, experience, and skills aligned to racial equity and justice. We value those with lived experiences performing work relevant to the position descriptions and do not require candidates to possess a degree to apply (see substitution information in minimum qualifications for more details)

Both positions are full-time, temporary exempt appointments with a salary range of $101,036 to $122,798 annually. These positions are with OECE, but OECE and First 5 are actively aligning, jointly funding, and potentially creating one entity to oversee San Francisco’s early childhood system.
